Chase

Long back
There used to be
A category 
Of humans defined
As marriage material

They had all their
Checkboxes ticked
A nice degree
A good job
Lot of money
And a future plan

Fast forward 
Today a new category
Has emerged
Of humans defined 
As "No strings attached"

They have their own
Checkboxes defined
Freedom to be
Who they want
Open relationships
And one night stands

Seems like
Nothing has really changed
Only the checkboxes renamed 
Love and truth never 
Had a chance
It has always been a chase
To fit into a mold
That the majority creates
at
